Who is Fujifilm?

Fujifilm is a division of Fuji Photo Film Co, Ltd. and is one of the oldest and most respected companies in the photography and imaging industries. The Fujifilm lab in Portland produces custom photo gifts including drinkware, wall décor, greeting cards, ornaments, and puzzles. Highly-skilled and talented imaging specialists carefully inspect every step of the production to ensure a product is prepared, finished, and sent to the customer.

Seasonal Roles

We are looking for candidates with a wide range of skills who will need to meet the following requirements:

· 18 years of age or older

· Can stand for a full shift

· Attention to detail

· Possess reliable transportation

Candidates with proficient English reading and writing skills, as well as candidates with computer skills, are a plus!

Seasonal Work Schedules

During the busy Peak season, Fujifilm operates 7 days per week. Employees can expect to work one of the following schedules:

· Day shift – 5:00am start time, shift length 8-10 hours, up to 6 days/week

· Swing shift – 2:00pm start time, shift length 8-10 hours, up to 6 days/week

Employees should expect to work a regular schedule that includes Saturdays and Sundays, with their scheduled days off occurring during the week. This also includes holidays such as Halloween, Thanksgiving, the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, and/or New Year’s Day.

Daily and/or weekly overtime may be requested as holiday shipping deadlines near.

Location & Access

Fujifilm is located on NE 185th Dr. between NE Sandy Blvd. and NE Riverside Dr. It is just one mile from the I-84 exit at NE 181st Ave. Public transportation is accessible via Trimet, bus line 21. The closest bus stop to the Fujifilm lab is located at NE 185th Dr. and NE Sandy Blvd., where riders would then need to walk ½ mile (10 minutes) along NE 185th Dr. to reach Fujifilm. Candidates who rely on public transit should disclose this to their recruiters so they can try to find a work schedule that is in sync with the transit schedule.
