Position Summary

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Kitchen Helpers to join a fast-paced airline catering operation. In this role, you will assist with food preparation, ingredient handling, kitchen organization, sanitation, and general support duties to ensure meals are prepared and delivered on schedule for airline customers. This position offers the potential for permanent employment based on attendance, performance, and business needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist cooks and kitchen staff with food preparation and assembly.
• Wash, peel, chop, and portion ingredients according to production requirements.
• Prepare and organize food items for airline meal production.
• Transport ingredients, supplies, and finished products throughout the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and food preparation areas.
• Wash utensils, trays, containers, and kitchen equipment as needed.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality control procedures.
• Properly store food products and rotate inventory using FIFO practices.
• Remove trash and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with additional kitchen and production duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous kitchen, food production, warehouse, or catering experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work in refrigerated or temperature-controlled environments.
• Must follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.

Schedule

• Full-time hours available.
• Multiple shifts may be available, including weekends and holidays.
• Overtime opportunities may be offered based on operational needs.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to work safely around kitchen equipment and food production machinery.
